My name is Maria Lawton and I am the Community Liaison for the law firm of Surprenant & Beneski, P.C. I have the overall responsibility for our day-to-day marketing initiatives as well the community outreach activities. This includes scheduling our community presentations in the surrounding area as well as on the Cape and Brockton. I have been with the law firm for seven years, and through these years I’ve have seen it grow to three locations and become the premier elder law firm in the Southcoast area. Prior to joining Surprenant & Beneski, P.C., I worked as the marketing director for an adult day health program. I have over 20 years experience in sales management, recruiting and public relations.
In my spare time I have been writing a cookbook with all my family recipes, titled Azorean Cooking…A Journey Home. I am also a member of the Buttonwood Park Friends and the Bierstadt Art Society. My hobbies are gardening, cooking, antiquing, painting and traveling. My husband Robert and I are the proud parents of three daughters, Erica, Rebecca, and Sarah, and our family resides in Dartmouth.
